Swing - Outdoor Bench Design
February-May / 2017
Swing is a bench, that is designed for the use of students and the faculty staff in Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts campus. During the design process, we started to think about the basic notions and the needs that the users wanted to have in this design. This led us to focus on fulfilling their expectations based on the question ''How can we create a dynamic sitting experience?''. We decided to create the basics with a minimalist approach by using a linear design and 3d printed materials. ''Swing'' was designed to encourage users to swing their legs while they are sitting. In addition to that, 3d printed hangers were added to the design to help users store their belongings.
The project was selected to the 7th Internatinal Student Triennial exhibition by the commission of our university. In the production process, we as a design group had all the responsibility for the manufacturing and produced the bench in collaboration with local blacksmiths and suppliers.

Remzi Bookstore Design & Wooden Model
November - December / 2016
Retail shop project is a 5th-semester design class project. After the first research about the retail shops, I decided to pick a subject which is related to books. Remzi Book Store is one of the oldest bookstores in Istanbul, and the project site is located in Palladium Shopping Mall in Atasehir area in Istanbul.
Each concept design was developed, and the technical drawings were done by individual students who picked their own subjects. Afterward, students made a model of their designs from different types of materials.
Microsoft Office Design
September - November/ 2016
Office project was the first subject in our design class that was about spatial design in the junior year. I chose Microsoft as the company that I wanted to work on. Our in-class goals were to search and determine the elements which had to be in the office, and designing the environment. Because of the limited timeline of this project, only sketches and technical drawing stages were expected of students.
